I LOVE YOUR ART!!!!!! ok.. bye
Oh my, thank you ; ;
Your art is pretty awesome too
I finally had time to brush up the last remaining small mistakes and stuff in my finals from the last semester (ever!) of my portfolio building class at RISD, and so I can finally upload them all.
They’re mock environmental concept art from two stories I’d like to develop further.
MY GAME ASSETS FINAL FINALLY (mostly) ENDED!! That means I can post this lil guy! My 2nd character model retopologized in Zbrush and textured/UVmapped using Maya/Roadkill, he’s a minor monster created for a group project game level design….He’s not a very complex model at all, but I’m so happy I finally got it to work. 3D modeling and texturing has such a steep and long learning curve!
I cant believe the people in the animation and game industry who’ve had to learn to animate these. GIVE EM SOME CREDIT GODAMMIT, THIS STUFF IS ACTUALLY DANGED HARD.
AH wow thanks to whoever submits to this blog for making this post!
I still don’t understand how I got noticed by such an amazing blog….
(So many of these pieces are so old too, though LO…L…hides face)
Either way I am really honored and I’m safekeeping this post ..!! ;w;
Oh god. I finally had an opportunity to illustrate!!
It’s my character design final….we had to illustrate and design a protagonist and antagonist.
Forgot to upload my last character design assignment…sorry folks for this becoming such a “character design blog”! I’ll have some more interesting things than this to show.. sooner or later.
Anyways, these are inspired by art from Pacific Northwest native cultures, namely Yupik masks!
(actually, I’m never NOT inspired by yupik masks…)
Last time’s character design HW: In a group project, redesign characters from Titan AE.
I did Akima. We tried to give all our finishes a slightly similar look of the original movie’s drawing style.
I am a little moss-shepherd.
This was for the poster of my senior gallery show. We each illustrated our own planet :D
Counter-intuitive cool color “positive” character and warm color “negative” character.
Another character design assignment - one trait you dislike in others, and one you like.
